Talk, show, confirm: how a conversation with Morfeul works

Morfeul opens ready to listen. Here is what happens between saying something out loud and a record landing in the memory of your farm.

Morfeul opens on its own screen, ready to listen. You can talk to it, type, or send it a photo or a document. Whichever you choose, the flower in the middle of the screen shows you what it is doing.

A face that tells you what is happening

Morfeul has no mouth and no spinning wheel. The flower does that job instead. It listens with rings pulsing around it, squints while it thinks, bobs its head while it talks, picks up a clipboard to write, reads down a sheet of paper and holds up a photo to look at it. When the conversation is over, it goes back to sleep.

From a sentence to a record

Say “cow 0142 weighed 386 kilos today” and Morfeul starts the right record, fills in what it heard and asks for anything that is missing. Before saving, it reads the whole thing back, “I’ll record the weight for cow 0142. Confirm?”, and waits for you. You can correct a field or cancel, and nothing is written until you confirm.

It works the other way round too. Ask how the farm’s finances are doing this month, or which tasks are still open, and Morfeul answers from your own records.

Photos and documents

A photo of a receipt, a label or a leaf can go into the conversation along with what you say about it, so you can look at it together.

Only what your role allows

Morfeul follows the same rules as the rest of the app. Each person sees and records only what their role on the farm allows, whether they tap through a form or ask out loud.
